Hi guys, I trade US share options (currently with OptionsXpress). Looking to shift my account to TradeView Markets (TVM) simply because its much, much easier to transfer money to the broker via credit card for me; TVM accepts credit cards while OX does not, unfortunately. My question is, has anyone ever faced any trouble with TVM w.r.t withdrawing money out from there? I know they say on their website that client funds are segregated but without any data from the Cayman Island financial authority, I'd really appreciate some feedback/guidance from traders who've been their client for a while. Also, what's the max amount you would consider "safe" to leave/trade with them? Any other issues/pitfalls you'd like to highlight here specific to TVM? Thanks
It is located in the Cayman Island and you are still asking questions! Sure they gone make it easy for you to transfer money to them via your credit card. like they say "one is born everyday"
One obvious question that comes to mind for me... why do you have to keep feeding your account with a credit card? Not being mean here... but if you were doing a good job trading options, you shouldn't have to worry about sending in additional funds. Build the account up with whats already in there.
Fair question...it wasn't always so...but now that I have started to have some money left over from my expenses at the end of the month, every few months I roll it all up and toss it over into my options account (I have a job...options are my side hustle )
seriously guys...looking to hear about experiences with TVM...can they be trusted with ~$10k or so? Also, I'm pretty sure the answer is no but I'll ask anyway...does their being on TWS mean anything re their financial stability and/or any financial discipline imposed on them by IB?
no i was holding the "snide jerk of the week" competition, you're winning so far. whatthehell, man...if you have nothing constructive to add, why interject at all?
What in the all of the above appears even a bit promotional for TVM? That "something" whispering in your ear couldn't be further from fact. I was/am genuinely looking to hear abt experiences with TVM, especially the bad ones. But I guess getting a straight, helpful answer here is too much to ask.
