I'm a Tradestation client for over a year now. Use their platform daily. Their software is excellent. I will say they need to do better on their customer service. That has been as pretty big complaint from many for a while now. That said, they do have an emergency number to their trade desk if you need to speak to a human immediately, and not all brokers can say the same. Their mobile app is really nice as well.

    TradeTune and SunTrader like this.
  2. really hope there is another broker to compete with ib head to head, but unfortunately traderstation seems to choose a path avoiding direct competition with ib

  3. Actually they are planing to expand ...Monex has been milking Tradestation since, and didn't invest. So selling IPO will help that purpose.

""The proceeds from the transaction will help fund the company’s plans. TradeStation hopes to accelerate account and revenue growth through increased brand awareness and performance-based marketing spending. The funds will also help improve product development and IT headcount to complete specific new products while adding liquidity to support an increasing customer base."""

  4. What made you choose Tradestation over IB?

ib can trade international markets, not sure tradestation can do the same offering.

  7. I hope they will add:
-Auto portfolio trading that multichart offers, within Tradestation itself.
    -Easy strategy wizard.
    - Also i like to see capability to close all or % of positions in a single click like IB

Not many companies want to spend the capital.

  9. IB lets you trade a lot of products. In turn there risk measures are extremely tight. They will close you out of a position when ever they choose.
