I look for high volume equity situations and use automation to trade in the hundreds of trades per day, per stock. The trademanager reports are incorrect and they only offer a daily confirmation list online. There is no daily statement or daily anything which shows realized trading results, MtoM and trading costs.

Under almost all situations the platform handles my limit order flow without issue and I am thrilled with all aspects of my trading. I can not however continue to wonder if I am profitable or not be able to audit the results they claim.

I have been waiting for a manger to contact me for 2 weeks. Anyone have emails to the executive offices? or h ave a higher up contact?

    Thanks

FWIW BR..................I use their Maitrix on GBTC and it is really off a lot of the time. I have had best results on getting assistance by starting with the trade desk and getting them to sign me up for telephone calls from desired dept.

Do you use the trade manager or the trade manager analysis?
The last one is well known to be not accurate. On the other hand, I never had any error with the trade manager.

I have tried to use both. When I have a large number of trades in a day, I have errors with both. I have screen shots that show the values being one amount after 8PM EST and another amount before 4AM EST. At the moment, no confidence in their reporting. I take a screenshot and print the manager at the end of the day. It matches my results that I had during the day and it will be the cornerstone of my argument with management.

  5. Are you folks saying that the reported gains/losses is not accurate right after your trades are executed or do these inaccuracy shows up next day after their clearing firm goes through them?

I have experienced both. It is not off by the various trading costs. Been off by hundreds of $ in a day. The Gain/Loss function and the tax reporting website tools are also off. In addition you can't select current days trading for gain/loss nor select a custom range of days.

  7. But is the trading/transaction records of bought/sold correctly showing the gain/loss? Could you export the transaction records into Excel format and then calculate the gain/loss? Did TS always fix the problem after you brought it up to their attention, maybe in 24 hours after their back office folks get on top of it?

TM and TM Analysis both show only approximate fees/commissions. There's also an issue in TM Analysis where trades closed later in the day may be assigned to the next day/month.

However, when you go to clientcenter.tradestation.com then Accounts > Equities Accounts > Statements and download your daily PDF statements, how are these not correct? They should be.

Nope and nope. I am trying to get to the bottom of it. Problem is you can export the file from the manager analysis and get one set of results, do it again in an hour and get different results.
Could try to use the daily trade confirmations to run my own tally, but if you look at how that is formatted. At the moment there is no easy solution. Trying to see how many others are going through this nonsense and if anyone has high level contact info. have not been successful at getting through to higher ups. I am sure they would rather see me close the account and move on down the road.

  10. I had similar experience with Ally Financial, they've always fixed it 24 hours later when I called to let them know, but they had to literally go through each trade on the phone with me and tally things up. It made me feel sick. Now I am hesitant about opening an account at TS.
