Trader Radio

  1. Is there any radio for traders that I can listen to while I am trading/lying in my bed?
I can't stand listening to pundits, commentators, or anchors opinions. So I am trying to avoid CNBC/Bloomberg.
Just recently I started tuning into TastyTrade which is slightly better than CNBC but still not focused on trading, etc. The best thing I found so far is Shadowtrader but that's abou it.

I was wondering if any of you guys have better recommendations for something to tune-into while I am trading that follows key news, key levels in the market.
    Thanks

you and me both. In the old days you could just listen to the CME S&P pit and understand everything that was going on. Anything you find today will probably be nothing more than an infomercial for the sponsers. I'm like you, all I want to know is what crude is doing and what possibly could be affecting the price. I don't want to know where it's going or what I should do.

  3. I buy books on audible and listen to them

  4. Yes, think or swim.com has great live radio feeds like shadowtrader etc.

no kidding, the news isn't really news. What we need is the "Complete Louis Rukeyser Wall Street Week" collection. More interesting to see how things never change than to try to figure out what the new news is.

  6. no kidding.. Most news is no news

How about subscribing to a squawk box...

  8. How valuable is it to you personally? If possible I am trying to find a free one since I am on a budget, recently graduated from college.

I was just going to say this, and then saw your post. I've been using their platform for free for years.

  10. Forget my previous post, I just realized I can get the same thing from squawkbox on TOS futures cast chat room.

So I guess I already use what most people on ET use? Shadowtrader, Futurescast, etc?
And it is the best free option that I can listen to while trading?
