Hi all, long wait. TD Ameritrade didn`t open new accounts for some international regions, especially UK and EU since a couple of years. So no access to ToS!! Now I noticed Schwab is opening new accounts for UK and other international customers, including EU, again. Plus minimum account size has been set to 0 $. ToS included. Also worthwhile: their way of handling PTD rule. Kind Regards
I am using it from UK. It's good to have TOS! But it was not available to all of Europe the last time I checked.
With Schwab's takeover they've made it both easier and more difficult to open an account and trade from TOS. Here is Singapore they demanded extra personal financial details (leading to net worth) in order to qualify for the account we already had. Also, we are limited to a single account. I learned to trade on TOS so we jumped through the hoops to satisfy the new requirements. But it forced me to look at alternatives, like IB and Tastytrade. I'm getting more comfortable with IB now and may at some point tell Schwab to .
