Can anybody give a list and experience with prop firms that are specialized in trading futures?

I´am not looking for firms that are selling some kind of education or selling combines!
I have no problem if a initial small deposit is required.

    Thanks,
    Saber

The top ten futures prop shops don't ask you to put up capital. They pay salaries. Many of them are in Chicago. They hire fairly selectively; generally multiple interviews culminating in flying you out, in my experience. I'm not sure what it's like for people with experience, but they usually recruit on campus at good STEM schools and the schools around Chicago. Anecdotally, they seem to value technical experience and coursework more than GPA and other factors traditional finance jobs value. Expect to be prescreened with brainteasers and probability questions and then some programming and algorithm related questions. Inevitably, every interview asks one or two questions that seem to come out of left field too. Don't expect to get anything on your first few interviews, but slowly you'll start to learn what they like to see and how to answer questions you don't know in such a way that you show some critical reasoning. Ask for hints without explicitly saying you're stuck and never give up on a question or show any signs of frustration. Expect to leave your comfort zone. The last few suggestions apply to any job interview though.

I'm not going to list the top ten, but if you look around, they aren't difficult to find. If you're looking for an arcade, I'm not very familiar with them, they're usually even easier to find. Even if you're a profitable trader, i would not recommend taking any prop trading job without a salary. The markets are too unforgiving and the skills you develop don't really translate well outside of the trading industry.

So easy to find, this thread is just overflowing with 'em! Or not.

@bellman in the interest of getting hired, I'm not going to say anyone is any better than anyone else. I gave clues that any reasonable person could follow. Here's one more: look at the founders of the prop shop. If they worked at a company whose name means something akin to "a fortress atop a hill which protects a city," then that might be a good one. There are several that are great which don't fit that criteria. If you can't figure that clue out, you likely aren't going to get the job.

I´am not revering to prop firm that trade from a fixed location. I want to know the remote prop firms. I live in Europe and have no intention to go to the US.

    Thanks any way.

U wanna know remote prop firms? I am sure that we can satisfy your requirements. We have done this business for many years and have many remote traders with us. PM or email me, and let's do further discussion. Thx.

You will not find a "Top Ten" futures prop firm ( at least per the CME rules and regulations as a registered electronic prop firm ) that would allow you to trade remotely without first becoming an employee and working on-site first.
