I never thought this would be a problem. I had a sales job that ended June 3 and that made me full time as a trader. I am making money. On an average day I am done by about 1.5 hours after market open. I am in Hawaii 6 months out of the year so I am done by 5AM. The issue is what to do the rest of the day. Yes I have hobbies, mainly windsurfing. I am actually thinking of taking a "work when you want" sales role. That will fill up some time. This is not any kind of issue I thought would be a problem.
Read some books etc.. I have plenty of stuff to fill my day without having to worry about. Things like sciences, arts, music etc. Dude there is plenty of stuff to enrich the day VS having to work for someone.
What do you make on average on a daily basis, % wise and dollar wise. What are your thought processes when you trade. I have been thinking of pursuing a psychology degree program to satisfy all of my bored free time
Focus on making enough, in say three years, to be able to stop trading and retire with FTW money. That keeps you busy for three years.
Good Evening Jdesey, Man, you better stop playing ass around and bullshitting. Click the chart all day, and hurry up and get rich and retire from ALL work. There is no such thing as a full time trader. Why would you want to be a Full Time Trader your entire life? Drawdown is around the corner lurking and will make you never say the words Full Time Trader again in your life. You better hurry up and get rich and quit playing around, talking about your bored.
