Today...Thursday 9:52 am Pacific Dow down .42% Nasdaq 2.17%...What I think it tells me

It looks like the market feels that interest rates will rise quickly and stay up through 2023. The Dow is mature companies with controllable debt...Nasdaq, run for the hills trying to refinance loans, without a good balance sheet.

    Thoughts...

  2. I still think 99.1% of traders lose money, or gets nowhere, or makes no serious money from the market.
Despite their best efforts, and hard work, and prayers, and years and decades of trying and trying, and all the books and crooks.

Very, very, very few people on this planet....can truly call themselves an Elite, Trader,
I personally like to think of an ET, as an extraterrestrial trader.

There are a lot of flash in the pan trader success stories, but they vanish, lose money, or their magical process stops being magical.
I would like to see someone win the Powerball ....more or less.....everyday, or every week, or every month, or every year....consistently.
To the moon....then to Jupiter. Not to the moon....and poofing like a marshmallow.

I still think that 99.1% of the board members don't care what you have to say.

  5. Everyone on this ET forum....would be vastly greater traders....if they understand the concept of Part Fart, Part Science....and how that can apply to trading. There are way too many completely left-brained, linear, square, thinkers here. And the market movement, especially daily, can definitely be part fart, part science.
And this is just not some philosophical bs, either. These golden words of wisdom are coming directly from an ET.

I had 1/2 hour sleep last night (insomnia)...Not sharp today.

I was around (and in the market) between 1979-1981. I watched my brother go to the land bank and try to refinance at about 18%...He was losing money on his crops!!

Look across the board today at who is up/sideways and who is down. All I am saying is this has happened before and I believe we will be in the middle of it very soon.

"The Fed funds rate, which is the rate banks charge each other for overnight loans, hit 20 percent in 1980, and 21 percent in June 1981. The cause was an inflationary spiral brought on by rising oil prices, government overspending and rising wages."
