The shuttering of the FBI Foreign Influence Task Force and planned reassigning of team members follows a directive from incoming and newly sworn in US Attorney General Pam Bondi dissolving the team. “To free resources to address more pressing priorities, and end risks of further weaponization and abuses of prosecutorial discretion, the Foreign Influence Task Force shall be disbanded,” Bondi wrote in a memo issued Wednesday. The special task force was established by former FBI Director Christopher Wray in 2017 following a wave of foreign influence operations targeting the US electoral process, including Russia’s efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election that Trump won. Wray previously said the purpose of the team was “to identify and counteract the full range of malign foreign influence operations targeting our democratic institutions and our values. Trump has a beef with Wray and he doesn't trust him. Bondi will just form a new special task force with a different name doing the exact same purpose. Strangely, Trump pardon a lot of people who attacked the Capitol in an effort to stop the certification of the 2020 election. It's strange because he did not pardon those wanted by the FBI for leaving the country and sharing U.S. military secrets and election information... A few of their names were mentioned in the confirmation process to some of Trump's picks. The people Trump selected couldn't answer any questions about the those traitors along with acting as if they never heard of them before even though Trump's picks mention them by name in social media posts several years ago. Election results are managed by election machines and fake voter rolls, it's much worse in big blue cities. Pam Bondi please send the FBI into these blue cities to collect evidence, just ask the right questions and the 2026 election will right as rain.
