This is my first post so be gentle. I am in the process of reading about business/economy cycles, and I was wondering if anyone had any luck with it. I want to start investing but i am not sure if I should invest in regular stocks or ETF's. I have about $1000 every month to spare on investing. I am in it for the mid to long term. I am 32 years old. Following economic indicators to figure out in which business cycle we're in and investing in stocks or sectors that do well at those times seems very appealing to me, so i was just wondering if anyone had any success with it or if someone could share success or horror story. Any advice is appreciated.
