Tick replay at life-like speed

Is there a software that:
1. Can download and save ticks from a day’s action.
2. (Optional) Can play the ticks back in as if in real-time – i.e. not in bursts of 1 second.
3. Allows fast forward and playing at 2x, 3x, 6x etc. speed.

I used to use eSignal 10 for that – even though eSignal would only replay in bursts of one second. But eSignal have removed the whole tick downloading/replay feature in v11 and v12.

What are my alternatives? I don’t need any strategy testing – just decent charting and tick download/replay.

Sierra Chart, as well. But one must specify the program to download the data in "ticks" from the beginning.

Problem with Ninja is in market replay the volume doesn't update when price does... for some strange reason the volume of a bar becomes visible only when the price bar closes.

 

Just to be sure, do you have Calc on bar close set to "False"? I don't use volume so I'm not sure.

Ninja works well. Just enable market replay option and it keeps saving data for you. When you need it, just open a market replay connection and keep forwarding/rewinding/increase speed.
