The silent outrage has already been felt and resulted in the election of Trump. Public opinion has shifted, there is less rage among those voters today, but more frustration, because he has not delivered on his promises. I'm mildly frustrated myself, because despite his unfitness for the position (too thin-skinned, egocentric), maybe he could have delivered as the populist he presented. Instead, he has enacted economic measures that have been proven ineffective, repeatedly, in easing working peoples' difficulties. The disaster relief being an exception.
Not sure where I agree/disagree with you, because it's just too vague. Which promises has he not delivered on? Were you negatively impacted by the tax reform? I was, and yet I agree with it. Seems to me the sacred cow has been Obamacare, and we have Paul Ryan's obstructionism to thank for that. I want more swamp draining. I can't imagine what could have been done had all this bullshit by the swampies been done.
What's funny is the only thing I am worried about at this point is a complete purge of republicans because Trump is such an embarrassment for the country. While I want democrats in power, I don't want them to have such a huge majority that some really far left ideas like a FTT can be easily passed. Thinking this is like 2016 is a mistake, there were a lot of swing voters then who said fuck it, let's see what an reality TV star can do. They have now seen the man for what he is, the experiment failed. There is still time for some conservatives to plead for forgiveness and distance themselves from him to avoid going down with the ship.
Yeah, no. Not into this at all. Demonrats can keep their peeps, and I can have a nice day of shopping at Target.
