Once in awhile, although it happens rarely, I see a thread get closed in the Political section with no last message post in the thread by a moderator or Baron about the reason for the thread being closed. ---------- Politics Warning by Baron: Not for the faint of heart. If you are easily offended, stay away from this forum! ---------- Thus, I've always assumed it was closed because the thread starter requested his own thread to be closed because when such is requested anywhere at the forum...there usually isn't a reason left by a moderator or Baron. Why was the below thread highlighted in red in the Political section ??? Seriously, it can't be because the poster incorrectly spelled the word "Congress" in his thread title via using the word "Comgress". wrbtrader
Tony Stark pointed something out in the thread, and sure enough when I did a search it turned out the OP (the_gem) had been previously banned under multiple aliases. So I banned this latest and as the thread only had a couple posts, and an embarrassingly spelled title, I put it out of its misery. Think of it as a mercy killing, or in this case a mercy closure...
