This time Bitcoin will win on Ethereum

The cross ETHBTC highlights the beginning of a trend by large investors that should lead the BTC to win on ETH.

The very large investors or institutional investors have already taken a position SHORT and it seems that their tendency is to increase the quantity.
Even large investors or professional investors are taking the same path and are in fact SHORT compared to ETH and LONG compared to BTC .

That might be true for the short term. But we will see what happens long when ETH 2.0 comes out

 

Was thinking the same thing when looking at the chart. Think ETH may have reached a ceiling until they do with some much competition now and lower fees.

 

charts are funny. when i look at this i see ETHBTC trending upwards with higher lows and support around 0.06 (difficult to eye-ball). i'd expect ETHBTC to continue upwards next rather than breakdown out of this range.

i didn't mean that your chart was funny - i simply meant that charts in general are funny in that different people see different things. Indeed, ETHBTC is continuing to trend downwards as you predicted. Any thoughts on why? I thought BTC would face headwinds with focus moving towards smart contract L1s.

thanks for the clarification. taking a closer look i see that professionals, privates, and institutions all favor BTC over ETH. Besides the technicals, why? Why do you predict that this trend will continue for "very long"? I'm really interested and not trying to be facetious.
