I am trying to find a list of programs which accept text files as instructions to automatically send orders to IB TWS. Please help me finish the list. Thanks.
You can try a program like Zeroline Trader which has a feature for accepting text files for orders: http://www.zerolinetrader.com/doc/Port/index.html Then there is: http://www.tradebullet.com/ Supports multiple brokers and can accept orders from multiple sources. Text files should be supported but check it out for yourself. There's probably a bunch of others that can deal with text files but can't think of any at the moment.
describe the text file. IB offers an API that lets you send in orders. you read in your text file and do it that way.
