  2. :D The "chief" of all ET Moderators, who is also Mod of the Pro Firms thread, is hardly what you call him.

Your original thread title was incorrect English:
"Why traders are so eager for leverage at prop firms?"

So, he shortened the thread title to correct it and make it more catchy (traders are implied in the subject):
"Why so eager for leverage at prop firms?"

He could have switched a couple of words around to fit your use of a question,
"Why are traders so eager for leverage at prop firms?",
but he made a good shot on the run - the best one.

Magna happens to be the most responsive Moderator on the site - especially given his near-round the clock workload - in addition to being totally professional.

Also, Daal, it can take a bit of time for a thread to burst into bloom - if it so merits. It's the responsibility of the thread-starter to provide a few additional prompts and maintenance when necessary... So, don't be so impatient with your creations.

Like trading the market - you take what it gives you (inlcuding improvements) and make the best of it. Right :) ?

I don't see how that edit changes the appeal of the thread in any way.

  4. nahahaha funnnny

dood he's shortening it so it doesn't mess up the web design

obviously you need a head check!

Be glad I'm not Baron. Looking over your "contributions" to EliteTrader, I'd be more likely to ban your sorry butt than say anything at all about a minor change that clarifies a thread to a moderator.

All you've done here in feedback is show why you should not be taken seriously by anybody.

I frequently edit titles to clean up various problems:

    1) Titles that run on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on like this one

    2) TITLES THAT SCREAM AT YOU IN ALL CAPS

    3) Titles that the thread creator felt was so bloody important he ended it in multiple exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!

    4) .... or multiple question marks just in case you missed the fact that it was a question???????

    5) Titles with misspelled words

    6) Titles with horrendous English that won't make sense to anybody

    7) Titles that use redundant words or clearly implied words like "trader" (thanks biggerfish, you nailed it). Obviously when we're discussing Prop Firms we're talking about traders, otherwise we could stick it in every title such as "System Crashes at Prop Firms for traders" or "Trader wants to know Any Word from Refco Trading Services?" or "Bright Trading for traders"

Anyway Daal sorry this upset you so much. And thanks guys for all your comments, most appreciated.

Your friendly prick mod (geeez, tough crowd here at ET....)

  8. Yeah, My feedback is Baron should start a "Prick Mod" award.

Lol, I can't believe he took screenshots and everything.

We should give him a "Goober" Award for this thread.
    :p

I'd like to thank all of you pricks for doing such a thankless job to clean up the crap for the rest of us. :D

This helps me get into the threads some of these goobers post and add them into my ignore list much faster.

  10. Just out of curiosity, what posts of his show he should not be taken seriously by anybody? Anyone ever read TGregg's threads? How is Daal worse than that?

I am a little curious why the sig line doesn't show up. I am thinking about adding more to that link including the company's internal code numbers: RGIS, how managers wil help you start up a competing business while they are still employed at their own.
