These are the types of market that I love, lots of great trading opportunities. A lot of retail traders will hate these type of market because they have pre-conceived notions of what the stockmarket should be doing instead, of merely following the Stockmarket's message and trading accordingly. If you do not believe in technical analysis, trend following, stop losses, etc. Keep right on moving. This thread is not for you. I will not give you a pat on the back for your arrogance and more so, your ignorance. There is a lot of ignorant retail traders on the ET message boards. Unfortunately, for you guys, the market is only a place to lose lots of your monies. For the informed and best traders on ET, the sky is the limit. The coming recession will give the good retail trader lots of trading opportunities.
Request this thread to be moved to chitchat. OP clearly is just baiting. No trades no ideas, just bla.
This may come as a surprise to you, but there are people that do not believe in TA, trend following or stops - that do quite well in the market year after year. Fortunately our continued success does not require a pat on the back from you. And arrogance is starting a thread bragging about your success while calling others ignorant.
Same here, had to check in incognito mode. Small emotional tolerance, small d.... Usually positively correlates...
I've been pooh-poohed on this forum by others who I guess are much more sophisticated than am I for my "rigorous" approach to trading in accordance with five biblical principles, including: "Rightly interpreting the signs of the times is an absolute necessity." Nonetheless, I learned my lesson long ago NOT to trade based on what I believe the market will do, but rather, act "in the moment" based on what the market IS doing.
The best traders react to the market instead, of trying to predict what the market is going to do. Far easier to wait till the market shows you where it is headed as compared to trying to guess where the market will go next.
So when you clicked that mouse and entered a long position you PREDICTED the price was about to go up did you not? And when you entered a short position you PREDICTED the price was going to go down.
