The ultimate wheelhouse tracker :)

Discussion in 'Trading' started by wxytrader, Mar 26, 2024.

  1. NM, I decided to just create my own tracker that did what I needed.

    Main features
    • Tracks multiple symbols on the same sheet. When selling a call, it will lookup and autofill the corresponding # of contracts and strike price you got assigned at. This is a must when you are tracking multiple symbols.
    • Automatic status updates. It will show when an option is otm, itm, closed, shares assigned, shares delivered.
    • All assignments and deliveries of shares to be handled automatically. If your short puts expire itm, it will automatically buy the shares. If your short calls expire itm, it will automatically sell the shares.
Once I place a trade, I can check in after expiry and see the outcome without ever having to manually update anything.

    All trades

    Other features
    • Tracks and calculates break even strike price.
    • When closing a position, it will display the weighted average cost basis for reference.
    • Shows the projected PnL based on the strike price of a sold call.
    • Shows the projected monthly income based on the price of an option, automatically calculating the maximum # of expirations in a month for that symbol.
    • Automatically formats expired orders.
    • Tracks all premium (daily, monthly, annually)
    • Tracks ROI, return on risk, allotted funds per symbol.
    • Tracks allotted funds for open positions.
    • Tracks unrealized PnL.
    • Tracks all underlying realized PnL.
    • Tracks how long each symbol has been traded.
    • Select symbol to track individual stats.
    • Toggle between USD/CAD.
    • Alerts you when an option is itm.
    :)

ah crap I meant to post this in the original thread...mods?

How did you create your own tracker? You code?

  3. All done with google sheets formulas. No scripts. No API.
