Looks like this winter it is going to be really hard to avoid getting infected with Omicron, it is 70 times more infectious than Delta. In Miami-Dade, it only took 2 weeks to go from getting recognized to 80% of the cases. So what else can you do or take beside getting vaccinated or boosted(as you hopefully already did)? Here are some supplements that help you to get over your infection: 1. Vit D. You can start to take it already, most Americans are low on vit D. Don't worry about overdosing, you can take 5K daily and not have a problem. You probably want to add vit K too. 2. NAC, enough said. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7649937/ 3. Zinc plus Quercetin/EGCG. You want Zinc in your cells to block virus multiplication, that is how you do it. These are the most important ones, there are a few more, as vit C, etc. But as the basic stuff goes, vit D, NAC and Zinc with ionophores. Now get on Amazon and start ordering. You WILL need them...
Also check out Vitacost, as they have great prices and a big selection. They also have their own brand with good prices. I use them.
D3. I take a version that is mixed with K2. Forgot to mention, but on Amazon there are at least 3 already mixed Zinc with Quercetin. So if someone is worried about too many pills, that is only 3 pills, NAC, Zinc (with Quercetin) and D3 (with K2). I would only start NAC when symptoms are present or a positive test result came back. Zinc helps the most in the early stage, so that can be taken as a prevention, specially after a possible exposure. Another easy treatment after possible exposure is H2O2 spray into nasal cavities. Omicron is mostly multiplies there so killing the virus right away is a good way to shrink the viral load.
Nobody should be snorting hydrogen peroxide. There's a reason there's a warning on the container that says "Do not use on open wounds. For topical treatment only" The thing kills healthy skin cells, along with damaged ones infected with bacterium. It's like a local chemo treatment for skin and nasal membranes.
You are right, first you should stop shorting coke and wait until the open wounds in your nose heal. THEN you can inhale H2O2. This study showed no difference, but it was done on already hospitalized patients and as I said, you have to do it early when the virus hasn't gone down into the lungs. Nevertheless the study showed that it was perfectly SAFE to use it: (otherwise they hadn't done the study) https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33957025/
Some vitamins (A, D, E and K) and supplements are fat soluble and must be taken with fat or they will not be absorbed. I take 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil when I take mine.
"Conclusions: H2O2 as a mouthwash and nasal spray is safe to use. There is insufficient evidence to demonstrate that H2O2 is effective as an auxiliary treatment for hospitalized COVID-19 patients. Stop snorting rocket fuel, dudes!
