I would like to shake the hand of the man that controls SLB. He is very good at what he does. I was shorting all afternoon as oil was selling off to new lows, he collapsed the bid, I was in the money pretty nicely, only to watch him bring it up right til the close. who would have though that slb would have finished positive on a day that oil makes its 5 month low. ugh...
SLB is a child's play compared to RIG or SII. Next time you should try those Also COF, GS and LEH specialists are lots of fun too)
Smith was one of my bread and butter stocks for a long time. BJS was a winner, too. But I do remember one day the SII guy faded his bid a dollar when I had just gotten long, and I doubled up and kicked his lilly white. Normally I would have bailed but there was something about the way he did it that made it look like a bluff. I also remember that for about two weeks, SII was alot easier than usual; I concluded that the regular market maker was on vacation or something. Rarely made money daytrading RIG. I do recall that COF used to be a real wild stock.
GS. That guy kills me everytime I make a trade. I stay away from that stock purposely when it shows up on my screens...
