I remember RCA but never knew of this story until today. Quite a fascinating one and how the radio at that time was the most booming technology of all .... Once again they are comparing it to nvda.... But we all know tbis time it's different. No bubbles exist in todays market and never will ever again.... What Nvidia investors can learn from the roaring 1920s and the radio bubble A tale to two booming stocks, both driven by rapidly developing technology https://www.marketwatch.com/story/w...e-roaring-1920s-and-the-radio-bubble-206aaf79
Radio was an awesome medium. You probably have never heard the full version of this before... Enjoy it, because the televised version of it is super rare..
There are always new ideas and new businesses that catch the imagination. Likely a new method to auction slaves in Ancient Rome would have attracted investors. But to make something a bubble, the necessary ingredient is printing of more money. In times of Rome, literally Gov'ts would file gold & silver coins, thus artificially increasing the money supply. The Federal Reserve was created in 1913, and partly due to ignorance, but mostly because central banks always tend to print money, there was massive money printing (through various means) in the decade that followed. The Roaring 20s roared due to Central Bank printing, which created higher prices, both consumer goods, and capital goods -- i.e., stock prices. Repeat and rinse, several times, and in addition to solid reasons, NVDA soars. But so do nonsense MEME stocks, and push most world markets to new highs. This time will likely end similar to the 1920s -- the 1929 crash, and the ensuing Depression.
If anyone thinks NVIDEA story will end well they are mistaken greatly. What we need to be concerned as traders how to play it and make money.
You've never heard of Skynet, then. It was fiction in the 1980s with shit like The Terminator, but it is soon to become a reality, man. All in NVDA, whoop!
