Great question. Judging by some of the other really shady shit that Banks trading Eurex were able to skate on it's a damned pertinent question. Eurex has been operating on a "no action" letter (a waiver of sorts) from the CFTC since forever.

 

Yes, before they reduced the tick value of the Schatz, after that he did more in Bund and Bobl.

 

Rotter never bothered me, personally. But then again, I was never scalping either. I made good use of the Euribor, Gilt, and Short Sterling markets.

 

I wonder if Rotter could be profitable scalping the markets in 2018.
