    Gross video. Oddly, I see these researchers with a lot of their skin exposed (arms, face, neck and hair) while brushing the rat for fleas in search of the bubonic plague. :(

    It's mostly curable, and the researches were probably taking antibiotics as a precaution. On the other hand, I think I'll cross off Madagascar on my potential vacation list.:)

    In college...I had a few friends that did their internships in Madagascar. It's a popular destination for med students, immunology students, and virology students from the United States, Canada, and France.

    They all came back with a few horror stories. I then put Madagascar on my "not to-do list" when it came to my time to decide where to do my internship.
