OMG. OMG!!!!! AHAhhaahhahahahaha, Ahahahahahahahahaha. The video will play from the story in question. Just click play.
I sure hope the title of this thread is not true because if it is, someone definitely is going to be convicted of a most anus crime.
OMG...this guy calls himself an economist and only looks at how much is the subsidy and how many jobs and nothing else? Did he not see that Foxconn is putting $7 billion of its own money into the factory? Did this "economist" not factor in tax revenue that will be generated from the products made and sold here? Did this economist not read that foxconn said it will be INITIALLY 3k jobs, but eventually work its way up to 13k jobs? If you're building a $10 billion dollar facility, it's a pretty good bet you're going to generate enough income to pay for that building. Money that will be taxed in wisconsin. Did we mention property taxes too? Wisconsin has the 5th highest property tax rate in the country, so this building will probably generate millions in revenue before they even open for business. So come on...this guy either isn't a real economist, or he's just selling you shit that he knows isn't true.
After reading this threads headline, Tony Stark and Spike Trader just packed up and moved to Wisconsin. It was just a figure of speech guys! Sorry to disappoint you
