‘Dumbest Trump family member’: Internet roasts Don Jr for repeatedly telling Republicans to vote on wrong day Donald Trump Jr. on Tuesday twice encouraged Virginia Republican voters to head to the polls on Wednesday to support Republican gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie — despite the fact that the election for Virginia governor is actually being held on Tuesday. “Let’s take Ed Gillespie across the finish line tomorrow!” Trump Jr. wrote in one Tuesday morning tweet. “Virginia: get out and vote for Ed.” “Virginia, the future of the Commonwealth is at stake tomorrow,” Trump Jr. wrote in a followup tweet later in the day. “Find your polling place… to vote Ed.” Twitter users were quick to pounce on Trump Jr.’s errors, which could theoretically cost Gillespie the election if enough Virginia Republicans take Trump Jr. at his word and try to vote for Gillespie on Wednesday. Check out some of the top responses below.
Mildly amusing. The real reason they lost is because they offer nothing to the average American worker. Tax break bonus plan for the corporate masters under the guise that said masters will suddenly create jobs where no demand exists just isn't selling.
This is a big part of it for sure, but another factor has got to be that democrats now realize the seriousness of the peril our nation is in and that they better not stay home this time.
LOL. Funny replies. That being said, Republicans lost because they have been promising to repeal Obamacare for 8 years and NOTHING gets done. I got my new insurance premiums two weeks ago. Up 20% this year (on top of the already 100% increase since Obamacare went into effect). They control both houses and still can't do anything. Pathetic.
Northern Virginia is just a colony of DC now. Just government workers. How many government workers in DC are republicans?
