This must be the most ridiculous trading guru and presentation EVER. Please give me a gun so I can kill myself. Do some people really have such a low standard to life?
, I wasn't expecting anyone to get that agitated for a simple video. Let me ask you one simple question, just to see your comprehension abilities: What are the five different dimensions that he uses to trade?
Irrelevant. What matters is that I don't take any advise from a grown man with grey haired pony tail wearing a suit and tie and pretending to school some losers while not having acquired any marketable skills himself. But please, take your trading knowledge from clowns like him. Has that guy ever learned from or traded in any capacity with professionals who actually generate alpha? Then we can talk. If he did he would not be standing there and talk but he would be making money himself.
So, you haven't understood anything from the video. You speak like you love yourself a lot, that you are too good for this world, but you are just toxic and dumb as a brick.
The guy calls fractal a simple 5-bar pattern. He said at the beginning that TA is shit, but at the end (1:13:00 ish), he shows many TA indicators that he is using. The guy is a good speaker, but obviously, all this is to sell his tutorials.
A fractal is a 5-bar pattern. https://www.investopedia.com/articles/trading/06/fractals.asp Yes, there is an element there to sell his courses, but the point is to understand the three fractals that he is using, I think that is interesting. There it goes the never ending topic of what is TA and what is not. He is using indicators to prove his point, so for me that is TA. I am with you on that one.
You're correct as "fractal" applies to the markets. It has an entirely different meaning in mathematics. It's bad terminology IMO. But if the pattern works, use it.
Yes, I know. My initial thought when I went into the video was to see fractals as n-series of pattern repetitions.
IMO perfectly fine to use fractal term in trading, as Bill Williams defines it. There are plenty of terms that have different meanings in different fields. Its been used since at least the 90's so - get used to it.
