Anybody at Alpine Valley last weekend?

Thought the two shows were good. Saturday night's was a little rusty, but on Sunday they were a lot tighter. Not sure they should have played Morning Dew or some of the other "Jerry tunes" that only his voice did justice to, but Phil certainly is game to try. Kreutzman missed a few beats on Saturday too.

Overall, it was a great weekend. Jorma put on a good show. Steve Parrish told some great Jerry stories at the spoken word tent...

    What did you think?

  2. Saw the shows. It was great, but at the same time, it highlighted how important Jerry was to the music and the whole scene. It was interesting to see Parrish talk about being Jerry's Roadie. Parrish is a tough guy who showed emotion when talking about the fat man.

I was thinking while watching Mickey and Bill that musicians would make good traders if they had the greed instinct instead of the art instinct in them. I think following patterns and interacting with a band is similiar to what you need to be successful trading.

I just can't picture Jerry pounding the keys to make a buck. Bob maybe.
