The non-existent logic of the moronic right-wing 'voter fraud' myth

Funny how nobody's ever been able to show any evidence of mass voter fraud in, let's say, in the last 30 years.

Should be easy, right? Say 1,000 people voting 10 times each, that's 10,000 votes. A reasonable number. So, there's a 1,000 people in buses going from voting station to voting station. There's 10 different IDs per person to use at those stations. That's 10,000 sets of ID.

And that's just one city! Of COURSE the democRATS are going to do it in, let's say, the top 100 American cities. That's 100,000 people and 1,000,000 separate sets of ID. PER ELECTION.

30 years, federal elections every other year, 15 elections. 100,000 people per election = 1.5 million fraudulent voters.

Where are they? They'd get rich on the conservative talk-show circuit, they could have a book ghost-written, they could be famous.. None of them wanted that? Nobody coming forward with a video of "Here we are changing out our IDs on the bus before the next polling place" or keeping a copy of the ID as proof..

This is why most conspiracy theories fail. They involve vast numbers of people keeping a tight secret without anyone EVER finding out. Chemtrails? Who maintains the aircraft systems? Who designed the aircraft? Who refills the sprayer? That's tens of thousands of people.

Old saying: "Two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead"

I had a rightwinger give me this link to Heritage Foundation voter fraud website as proof it exists and is a significant problem.

    https://www.heritage.org/voterfraud/search?state=FL

    It proved the opposite.

I went on it and the State of Florida was the first page. And I counted 33 cases listed over 25 years for all elections (Federal, State, county, mayoral etc, We're talking 60-70+ million votes cast over that period with all the various political races.) And the 33 cases ranged from not informing authorities they were a felon before registering to vote, to some as simple as a person registered in one precinct but moved and voted in another. Some of the 33 were cast for Republicans, others for Democrats. Statistically it is insignificant.

And keep in mind this link was the Heritage Foundation, a right wing organization and given to me by a Trump supporter.

I told them in the future they should think twice about passing that around if they want to make a point. It only undermines their argument. And I thanked them for giving it to me so I can pass it on.

P.S. AZ had 20 cases listed over 25 years in all their different elections.

Rick Scott's monitors agree with state cops: No Florida voter fraud:

Gov. Rick Scott asked state law enforcement to investigate Broward County election officials because of potential “rampant [voter] fraud,” even though monitors from his own administration say they have seen none in that county.

“Our staff has seen no evidence of criminal activity at this time,” Department of State spokeswoman Sarah Revell wrote in an email on Saturday. Scott is the state’s current governor and the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate with a narrow lead over incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.)

That assessment, which was first reported by the Miami Herald, jives with that given by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, which said Friday it has also seen no allegations of fraud.

Republican vote counting strategy: Count enough votes until the Republican is in the lead, and then stop counting. The rest of the votes can be thrown away.

Ridiculous. I always knew mail in ballots were low-key shady as they're easy to ommit/undercount, thought I was being overly paranoid from reading 3rd world horror stories.
