Gee, that's a shame. Rod Rosenstein participated in the firing of Comey and is a witness and actor in any related criminal proceedings related to obstruction of justice. But guess who also oversees the Special Counsel who conducts that investigation? Yup, Rod Rosenstein. And yet not a single lefty is concerned about any conflict there. Absurd. William Barr has no conflict of interest whatsoever. He simply has a perfectly valid legal view toward the role of the Special Counsel that is not what the lefties want to hear. If a nominee came in having expressed the view that the special counsel should never have any accountability to anyone, anywhere, and should have unlimited power, they would have no problem with it- even though that could arguably be a bias too. But a professional legal view is not an unethical bias. It may be a reason you dont want to vote for someone or- the opposite- a reason why you might want to nominate them. Situation normal. So just do that and shut your hole. Note to Rod Rosenstein: Use the holidays to buff up your resume. Barr does not want your sorry arse as deputy. And he may very well end out releasing some info that you have worked overtime to conceal- for personal reasons. Fortunately, not being Jeff Sessions is still legal- and does not disqualify one from becoming AG. Shouldn't anyway. It is also worth remembering that the special witch hunter is a DOJ appointed special counsel- not an appointment under the special counsel statute (expired anyway) enabling congress to make such an appointment. If an appointment had been made under such a statute then Congress could set up a different chain of command and reporting structure. But Mueller is a direct appointment by the DOJ - under departmental regulations, ie, part of the executive branch- and Barr will be the AG, so Barr will direct oversight of Mueller or can delegate the daily oversight as he wishes. Yup, you heard me. Deal with it. https://www.wsj.com/articles/schume...es-barr-from-attorney-general-job-11545351686
