And if a clown like Kasich gets traction that will cause others to think that there is a demand for them too, if a clown get traction. So what I am sayin is, the dems are happy to see trump wounded and think that they have a pantload of talent. But if trump gets primaried in a meaningful way or does not run for a second term that is going to result in a Marco Rubio-Nicky Haley ticket. So the dems are going to be burned once again if they continue with this nonsense that they can put about anyone up in 2020 and win. Ask Hillary how that worked out. Thus far the dems have been united in bashing trump because it is an easy game to play and was helpful in rallying dems for the midterms. But that simple game is over now. I agree with most of what you are saying but there is no way a moderate like Kasich could even come close to beating Trump in a primary. Trump has super high support among Republicans. Maybe he does it just for publicity but IMO you will never see a "Never Trump" candidate be a Republican presidential nominee.

I just mentioned him because I had said several times long ago, that he was another fly on your potato salad at the picnic that would be back right when you think you nailed the mother and that his resurfacing marks the beginning of that season. He will be goofy though. Floating ideas about having a dem on the ticket and/or going third party, which he already has, such as today in his interview with Chris Wallace, or at least that is when I heard it. If there was an electoral option for Trump to seize dictatorial power, arrest most of the congress, federal judiciary and media and rule by decree, it would get a surprising number of votes. 2020 will be the last election decided by actual American voters anyway, so I don't see that we would be giving up anything.
Capital idea. If the dems resist being arrested and removed, give em the same due process that they gave Kavanaugh.
