Not so much that we overcome worries through prayer, though we most certainly can pray God help us to not worry.

But the Bible demands that we already not worry (i.e., "be careful for nothing") before and when we pray.

    Philippians 4:6-7
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

How can we be careful for nothing, when we are not sure God will say yes to our prayer to say, lift us out of poverty or heal us of our illness?

The book of Ephesians says even if God says no to what we ask in our prayer, he has something even better for us. So we need to have faith in this promise.

    Ephesians 3:20-21
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

My life was saved atleast, 3 times in possibly, very bad driving situations that could have resulted in my death and those of my passengers. We got thru by the grace of God. The third instance, I was crossing the street at an intersection with lights. I see this car moving at a fast pace on the right lane. I stopped and opted not to step down the crosswalk. The car whizzes past me and I see a woman driver texting on her phone, not looking as they made a sharp right turn. Had I stepped down on the curb, I would have been dead by this lunatic woman texting and driving without looking at the road. She was looking at her phone only and would have killed me on the spot. Even now, I pray over small problems and large problems alike. Not all the times, is my prayer request granted but, most times, 80% of the time, it is resolved in my favor. God loves us and wants the best for each of us. We only have to ask him thru prayers.

  5. Smalfil, you’re lucky that wasn’t me driving, I would have mowed you over, stopped, jammed it in reverse and burned rubber over you a 2nd and 3rd time. You belong in hell.

You got it only paritlally right. Not only does he belong in hell, so do you, me, all of us.

All men belong in hell because of our sin.

Ooooohh, I created me, I'm responsible I was born, I'm responsible that I'm a sinner.

Christians are genocidal, "all men belong in hell!"

Why can't you idiots think logically, what happened to your brain?

I'm a father, I want the best for my kids, all of them.
I want all children to prosper, even stranger's kids.

Christians want to see everyone who's not going to their church in hell.

Hell btw is a figment of jewish imagination that spread like cancer through planet earth.
    Cancerous, impossible to stamp out.

Actually, OT jews hardly speak of hell, its the fucked up christian thing.

Hell as a place of punishment, of fire and brimstone, is never, ever mentioned in the Old Testament. Not once.

The words translated as “hell” describe “sheol,” the place of all people who died. There was no torment associated with it.

The word “hell” is not found in the original Hebrew or Greek scriptures. The word “hell” was however put in to the KJV and the Catholic Douay version. In the original Hebrew language the word used is “sheol” and in the Greek “hades” both which mean the common grave.

If I'm a earthling sinner father and want the best for all children, why does a fucked up God want his children in hell?
