So this poster, over 100 years old still applies. When I read about people trading here on ET, I often think of this..... Worth a laugh.
It looks a lot like the board game LIFE by Milton Bradley. I remember playing it all the time back in the late 1970s. It also reminds me of the "Space Seed" episode from the original Star Trek show. The Khan character says that technology changes but human nature never does. This was after he had awoken from 200 years of cryogenic freeze.
Just to borrow what Alex Elder said, "No broker in this world would take order at the middle of the chart." They only take order at least one tick before the right edge of the chart.
I have stayed at the "Hotel Know it all" but left and never returned, except maybe once or thrice stayed at the bar, and have been wet more than a few times in the "river of failure". The screen name come from reminding me that there are trades that do go bad, but to avoid the really, really bad, badness of the lot. I.e. avoid the blow out at all costs. I see a lot of newbies that could benefit from studying this poster....
This is great, and The Answer happens to be a mechanical system that requires getting aboard, sitting still, and waiting until it arrives at the end. Proof that trend following actually works?
