Everyone! I am curious about your opinion about these days market. No volume, no momentum, no trend. No matter the stock is up 10 or down 15 %, the movement of the day trading time is always less than 1%! which means it already being set up 9% or down 14 % from the beginning of the day! And left only 1% to play you! And almost all the stock move the same way, same direction! The market is very strange these days! The only thing can be explained for this phenomenon is the market is totally being controlled by one financial association(banks, funds etc) And they set the tone for market everyday! Any opinion?
Today we were facing the war with Iragi and Russia, but look at the market! Most stocks day trading time movement still is less than 1 %! FB, NFLX, TSLA, C, MSFT... you name it! Is it too strange? !
Trends and momentum certainly exist. What data are you looking at? As for anything being "controlled," who cares? The only question is if you can profit from it.
No doubt, I ll tell u the secret, average public, 95% at least, have no idea what stocks are, they not buying them, it all lies,it's a scam .Be ready to be badly burned
Huh? i dont know what you r looking at.. but there are movements all over the place.. just get a grip on...
OP probably talking about stock market as a whole and I tend to agree with him. there is no volatility, no gaps. Every day opens flat or if there is a gap up or down-it, s opens and stays flat. Anyone can check that themselves. Grab something like iwm and compare opening % with previous years. Feel free to call me a crazy, but I do believe that the market is controlled and manipulated by fed/central banks etc. Imo they did really good job to squeeze out any competition over last 10-15 years. Don't fight the fed, remember that quote?
How to make more affluent friends? That is exactly what I need ! But everytime when I try to approach to those "look like VIP" people, they all keep quiet and try to avoid speaking to strangers. So weird. American should be open, but except those guys.
Why on earth do traders keep trading markets with no volume, no momentum and no trend but still expect volume, momentum and trend? Noblehawk, concentrate only on stocks (or commodities, currencies, international indices, etc...) with high volume, huge momentum and in a trending mood, there are tons of them every single day (use your scanning software to find them in seconds). That's it, problem solved.
