Yep...it was Baseball the first sport to experiment with steroids to improve your physical performance. Later, doctors begin using it to help muscle heal / recover from injuries.

Athletics than learned how to get it without doctors...go straight to pharma or illegal manufacturing.

    Heard of study recently -

    3 groups of people :
(each one took 600 mg of steroids - yet, don't know how often, be it weekly/daily - dunno)

#1 - group - took steroids, did nothing
    #2 - group - exercising natty
#3 - group - took steroids and exercised

    results after 3 months :

#1 - gained 8 pounds of muscle mass
#2 - gained 4 pounds of muscle mass
#3 - gained 12 pounds of muscle mass

Sick right ? Those who did nothin, had 2x more gains than those who exercised.

There's a good channel on youtube, called Anabolic Doctor i think, where the guys talk about autopsies of dead bodybuilders etc.
Some of the hearts weights up to 800 grams at the age of 26 (dead one), wheres the normal average male heart is 300 grams. Lungs, liver etc, everything becomes oversized.

As much as there is temptation - nah...
14 natty so far, maybe one day, il will take something easy, like extra testosterone/creatine etc, but, - nothing to extreme.

Each one has the right to choose of how to live.

    Like this channel tho :

That would be per week, and it s already a cycle dose, 3 to 6 times higher than a TRT dose, although no doubt sone people cruise on that much, assuming it s testosterone

It seems even highish TRT dose like 200mg test C/E a week would help most midfle aged people performance noticeably it sends my test level around 1350, over the top of the range of a young man. In some countries this dose is apparently easy to get from a doctor but is already not without side effect.
I haven t found any litterature that goes against taking creatine btw, but that won t help u as much if at all

Guy said that average male produces between 5 and 7 mg of TRT per day, while noobs take 500mg cycles per week... smiles ...

Hmnn, but absolutely, the idea of getting those after +50 y/o, (or even earlier), to prevent aging and the benefits that they provide (small dosages, with professionals/doctors supervision)

Will consider that in later years.

    Do you take any ?

Sure, 200mg a week atm (plus 50mg proviron and 3IU gh). A dose apparentky easy to get in a US TRT clinic but in Spain they go for lower, so I gave up the doctor s supervision, try to still get bloods regularly.
Fwiw I m happy with it but it is not without important consequences plus my limited experience with TRT clinics has been very poor, totally unreliable doctor just trying to push the treatment. Definitely not caring for the best outcome for me. As of endocrinos here they are too conservative for my taste and wouldn t be very helpful to anyone not suffering from very low test levels. Something to consider if u go that way later on and hope for doctor s supervision.
Fwiw I ve gone into injectable TRT to be able to cycle and not care about restarting natural test production, but a major issue is once u go on TRT it seems a hellish endeaviour to try and get off it. More into fighting than lifting at the moment, so heavy test cycles are not recommended to keep up with cardio, which should be a plus health wise. Taking of harmful side effects, test is on the low end compared to other drugs BBers take.
Anyway there are major pros and cons to TRT, just make sure to read a lot about it by yourself besides asking for doctor's advice.

That happens in all areas of private medicine. Keeping an eye on medics, since they push affiliate marketing based on fear. E.g my eyes doctor send me to check my neck, ,,potential area for the reasons of bad sight" (bs in reality)

Yeah, thats why keeping it for the later years.

Which fighting style do you practice?

Never heard that one, eye doctor sending one for a neck check ?!? I guess u looked for more info if qualifying it of BS. But sure had not only good experiences with doctors.

Fwiw if u want to experiment with higher test levels without shutting off ur natural production, u can first try Hcg and/or clomid, this could well bring u around 1000level, it might raise ur estrogens quite a bit more than test injections though. I ve been on variations of those for around 1 yesr before starting injectable TRT. If u give up u are supposed to go back easily at least to ur pre treatment levels.
U definetely need ti check ur test levels before any treatment, if u feel very energetic it s likely they are already pretty high and 200mg a week will be less worth the hassle.

Training around MMA with Junior, did mostly K1 and Muay Thai during lockdown but hopefully we increase grappling now that the gym reopens, although it would have to be behind closed doors as contact is still banned.

From memory you are into calisthenics right ?

Yes, but gona hit that iron. Cuz stuck at 25 pullups and i need to get into strenght/muscle gain routine , e.g instead of 20 reps - 6~8.

Got to check those levels indeed, since the head hair is gone but the body is like warewolf. (Laughs)

Gona go for jiu jitsu _ ,,One day" myself.

Yeah, damn, they checked my neck and tried to sell me that it could be related to eyes. Felt like scammed ... (Smiles) my own fault.

It's like story with Dalio and his cancer.
One doctor told that he has 24 months left.
Second doc, that he will need an extreme surgery of some kind and survival rate is 50%
Third ,that he will need to take daily 20 pils of different med and side effects will be nasty.

In the end, he brought together those 3 world class docs and ended up with few pils per day. Alive to this day, 5 -7 yrs later.

Martial arts for you, mainly to defend yourself - others ?
Whats the drive for it ?
    Hobby ?
