I've always wondered how the human mind worked, thinking about the thing that makes me think. I've come to my own conclusion that the human mind is a receiver just like any communication device in the universe. Most people account for the biochemistry of their brain to genetics, but the fact is it develops as one grows into the world based on observed reality. What people account for in pleasure and fear is an unconscious state closer to the animal in the wilderness. How can one understand something that the best scientist or philosophers that ever lived can never understand? My theory if they ever understood what one understood, they wouldn't have the problems they ever had... I'll give you a good example, people in religion, why aren't they given a revelation of something that would solve a short-term problem so they can eventually find a long-term solution? It's always "when I go here & there...yad yad"....when the fact is if they had it now they would take it... how would people know if there was someone that knows what happens after physical death? or is that the realm of religion to solve... to sum it up, most of the people in the world are in an unconscious state of fear and pleasure, how can they use their " receiver" without turning it on(conscious state)? The question is who is broadcasting this conscious state that people feel some of the time but ignore most of the time?
It doesn't matter, man, because when you die, you are done. That's it. Nada. Nil. Zero. An infinite universe provides for an infinite number of permutations of chance, and thus we now have complex lifeforms in this reality who may contemplate their own existence. There is no "guiding intelligence" behind it. There is no "broadcasting". Think deeply about this exchange between Data and Crusher. You will eventually learn that there is no answer, because there is no answer to be had.
I'm almost certain you have a broken " receiver" from watching the markets day in and day out ...you exemplify the animal state in which existence is instinctively based on the fear of death...
Again, the animal makes a Freudian slip, I'm addressing minds that are closer to the conscious state... not the ones in some sleep state that is "futile..."
How is my statement a "Fruedian slip"? I am not addressing you as if you are a father figure, thinking I am speaking to my mom? LOL!
Your state of "mind" is lodged deep in your subconscious, close to the unconscious state... Your denial of the fear you have is related to the unconscious state of your existence...you simply like to think of the idea of physical death as the simple solution to your fear which I can understand. People that base their lives on the sensory measures of the five senses tend to see less of the conscious mind than those that use the thought process...my statement relates to the fact, you're like a wilder beast that likes to think "I'm having sex and it feels good, so let me keep having sex until it ends...", well, it good and bad, as long as you're not having sex with my wife or daughter...and I know my mother is older than time so you wouldn't want to have sex with a dinosaur that's older than time...
