Hi there! I’m new on this forum so I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Tyler and I was born in Southern California on the same year the US issued the $2 bill. My first venture in the financial markets was with stocks on the New York Stock Exchange 16 years ago. And then I discovered Forex. For someone who battled insomnia at the time it was a perfect way to keep occupied! Though it probably did not help my cause at the time haha Anyway… I’ve been working in this field for some time now but I never joined forums until now. So be gentle while I get used to this
Hi Tyler, It is nice to see a person using a real name on a public forum, very rare these days Hopefully we can have some decent discussions, along with other traders, in relation to trading. J_S
I never understood the need to hide... I trade... I work in the field... I make a living... So what's all the secrecy about? I will be more than happy to have decent discussions about trading with fellow traders
It shows that you are new here. It is not about something to hide. Never forget that not all people are like you are. That's the problem. My naivity was quickly gone when i started to visit forums. And what is the added value if you know f.i. my name, adress or job? And are you sure that the information that I give is correct? Maybe your real name is not the name you use here. And so we can continue a long time. On the internet the only thing that is sure is that you're never sure about anything.
It does not matter if the name is his real or not, its the fact that he did not choose some silly name, or alias, like most do. It grabbed my attention anyway, and prompted me to reply, which I more than likely would not have done if his name was something like Iknowitall J_S
Wow... I missed a lot in the day and a half I didn't look. I didn't mean to come off judgmental - and yes it is my real name. I don't really care if people know me or not. Like I said after many years working in this field I finally decided to start hanging out on forums (though not much due to a lack of time) and one of the things that I do take seriously is the values we have in our office. The fact that it's so common for everyone to hide behind aliases is a big issue in this field and one of the reasons people don't trust anything in this field anymore. Not everyone is out to get you and the ones that are... just be more educated than them. And to J_Smith and i am nobody - thank you and no... I'm not out to cause trouble
