I'm just surprised the Browns did not figure out a way to trump the trade package and make this look even worse.
The Redskins are in deep sh1t. I know a number of people inside the organization and they say - to a person - that RGIII is not liked by the majority of the team. They find him mostly pompous and resent the fact that Shanahan couldn't really make him behave like the rest of the players because Griffin had Snyder on speed dial. There are few coaches better than Shanahan out there looking for jobs, and even fewer willing to step into a situation like this. No draft picks and several better players retiring or moving out on a team that is already well over the cap.
Shanahan is vastly overrated. In the last 14 years, he has exactly 1 playoff win....1!!!! Oh, and 6 playoff losses. 14 years, 1-6 record in the playoffs. Tired of hearing about him being a great coach. He isn't. And his terrible trade for RG3 will ruin the franchise for half a decade or longer.
