This is something I have personally encountered the realisation that though it is not really that hot 35c is 95F, you won't survive it long due to the humidity. You cannot cool down. I have been fine in 54C+ (130F) in the shade at noon every day with water for extended times but it was a dry heat. And yet the majority of states hit their record high temps in the 1930s and earlier. Only 3 states set records this century. So much for global warming.
