The Dumbest Generation... Don't Trust Anyone Under 30

  1. "... According to recent reports from government agencies, foundations, survey firms, and scholarly institutions, most young people in the United States neither read literature (or fully know how), work reliably (just ask employers), visit cultural institutions (of any sort), nor vote (most can’t even understand a simple ballot). They cannot explain basic scientific methods, recount foundations of American history, or name any of their local political representatives. What do they happen to excel at is — each other.

They spend unbelievable amounts of time electronically passing stories, pictures, tunes, and texts back and forth, savoring the thrill of peer attention and dwelling in a world of puerile banter and coarse images...."

All part of Odumbo's and the DemoCraps's plan?

    :(

  2. How about all those bad winter storms this year...curse you Obama.

There is a cultural change happening but it is not because of Obama. When I was a boy my mom would take us to the library on e a week in the summer time,, good memories.

It's good to see a liberal come to their senses.

  4. The resurgence of heroin use is also freakin Obama's fault. And the arthritis in my toe.

Wait. Scat was serious? LOL What an idiot.

One thing's for damn sure. Kids today are growing up without ANY expectation of privacy, and Constitutional freedom thanks to fascism, which has taken America like a wild fire. Once bad guys like me who use the evil word FREEDOM die off, I truly cannot imagine what America will look like...:(

  6. 20 years ago, we saw stories about the my generation being a bunch of slackers..
40 years ago, it was the demise of Nam and the hippies, and the onset of the disco generation...
50 years ago, it was all about Elvis, the Beatles, and rock-n-roll in general

Notice the progression from being the target of ire from your parents/grandparents generation to becoming the generation that says, "tag, you're stupid and lazy" to your kid's/grandkid's generation.

The only thing that changes is the date. All other issues, problems, and concerns remain the same. If you doubt me, head to the library and read some of the newspapers and magazines from the 70's, 60's, 50's, 40's, 30's, 20's, 10's, 1890's.

It's roughly all the same shit, just different dates...

Yep - reminded me of the line from the movie Dazed and confused....

Wooderson: "That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age."

  8. It'll look exactly the same after you die, you're way full of yourself if you think you're making a difference.

Do you believe education has remained the same? I don't. I also believe the unacceptable regarding basic freedom and the constitution has changed, and in many cases become acceptable. Just my .02.
