But is it really Trump doing this, or is it Heritage?

  5. But Trump doesn't take a salary.... his social security is called a 'rainy day fund'.

Companies shelled out $500M to 'avoid' Trump's 'wrath' after election: report

President Donald Trump never stopped raising money after he won the 2024 election, bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars check by check during top-drawer Mar-a-Lago dinners with health care industry executives, according to new reporting in The Wall Street Journal.

Reporters Josh Dawsey and Anna Wilde Mathews wrote that Trump held more than 50 dinner meetings at his Florida club where he wined and dined with heads of pharmaceutical companies, health insurance agencies, and hospital leaders who all wrote the largest checks.

They included the head of drug-maker Pfizer, pharmacy-benefit managers including CVS Health and UnitedHealth Group, and big insurers like CignaGroup, which all had a Mar-a-Lago dinner after their companies each ponied up at least $1 million.

"In his gold-covered, chandeliered dining room just off the lobby at his Mar-a-Lago club, Trump discovered one of the most lucrative moneymaking ventures of his career, sometimes serving chopped steak, showing off his iPad playlist and listening to executives looking to bend his ear and complain about others," they wrote.

“Everybody who is anybody went down to Florida to meet Trump," the reporters quoted Kathryn Wylde, the leader of the Partnership for New York City. “It was a proactive effort to not be a target,” she said.

The two months of private fundraising dinners "shattered records for presidential transitions," according to the report, with Trump telling associates "he raised about $500 million" this way.

The reporters spoke with "11 people familiar with the activities, highlighting the extent to which U.S. corporations have showered Trump with money hoping to avoid his public wrath and shape his thinking on esoteric issues where he has shown less policy interest."

Trump has said he'll use the money for a "rainy-day fund," and reportedly split the cash among his "inaugural committee and various other accounts, including a large political-action committee. "

The new Social Security Chief appointed by Trump states that there are not millions of 150 year old people getting payouts. Effectively calling out Trump and Musk on their lies.

New Social Security chief contradicts Trump, Musk claims that millions of dead people are getting payouts
Lee Dudek, the new acting SSA commissioner who was placed in the role by President Donald Trump, gave the clarification after Trump and billionaire adviser Elon Musk falsely claimed on social media and in press briefings that people who are 100, 200 and even 300 years old are improperly and routinely getting benefits.

So, instead of focusing on the actual waste and fraud in SS payments, let's focus on the hyperbolic comments from a man known for them. That's the left, for ya. "Trumpy Trump Trump!!" "But he said"....

We all know the President makes dumbass comments every single day of the week and twice on Sunday. Stuff you guys should be concerned with (direct from the AP):

The agency decided not to update the (COBOL) database because of the cost to do so, which would run upward of $9 million.
What database update costs $9M from a reputable vendor? This is Pentagon paid pricing. We updated a database with over 100M records and it was quite extensive (a lot of fields) and the cost was $300k.

A July 2024 report from Social Security’s inspector general states that from fiscal years 2015 through 2022, the agency paid out almost $8.6 trillion in benefits, including $71.8 billion — or less than 1% — in improper payments. Most of the erroneous payments were overpayments to living people.
$71.8M in "improper" payments? "Oh, but it's less than 1%". That seems to be the whole sing-song from the left lately. Sooner or later, all these 10s of billions are going to add up to adult money.

In addition, in early January, the U.S. Treasury clawed back more than $31 million in a variety of federal payments— not just Social Security payments— that improperly went to dead people, a recovery that former Treasury official David Lebryk said was “just the tip of the iceberg.”
So we are paying dead people, but we're arguing that the amount is only $31M and that this is just the tip of the iceberg. Sheesh, you people. "Trumpy trump!!"

The extreme media narrative is although, there are dead people up to 150 years of age, the Social Security Administration claims no benefits are paid to them? Does that make sense? Just like the dead people still voting in US elections even this day? They are still in the roster. Why?
Here is a logical thought. Since, the dead people are still in the Social Security rolls, you have to assume it is being used as a conduit to funnel monies maybe, to other social programs not related to Social Security? So, maybe a huge slush fund? Elon Musk needs to dig deeper to see where the monies are actually, going. If they have nothing to hide, there is no reason for them to oppose Elon Musk's audits. Yet, they have filed numerous lawsuits to stymie Elon Musk and President Donald Trump's policies in violation of multiple laws on separation of powers of the Executive, Legislative and Executive branches of government. These activist judges have no business interfering with the Executive branch of the Federal Government
