It is important to remember what we are celebrating. We are celebrating the victory of Free Market Capitalism over socialism.

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans and Free Market Capitalists.

I thought we were celebrating the ability to stuff face and then purge, and eat again (like the Romans), and watch American Football?

  3. Yes. Some call it the Dallas Cowboys play football while we pig out day.

I thought we were celebrating the one day a year when we allow the crazy uncle to come over and spew conspiracy nonsense at the dinner table.

Should be a good game. Tony Pollard v. Saquon Barkley. (Although that Slayton dude has been taking opportunity away from SB. Grrr.)

  7. You are an asshat sometimes but happy thanksgiving! :)

  8. and european football too! (World Cup) quite the combo!

  9. I always thought Thanksgiving was one big Marxist gathering where people got to eat as much as they want despite their lack of contribution to the feast.

You don't need to say Euro football when referring to world cup.

You can just say World Cup football, because that is properly what it is. Balls and feet. We Americans must specifically say American football, because it has ZERO to do with soccer. The only relation American Foot ball has to soccer is that they sometimes kick a field goal. Punting doesn't even count.

Our "Football" is closer to Rugby. It is all a bloody mess.
