The guy probably lied to authorities who did the investigation. They give you a chance to come clean, but say one lie to them....

  3. Yes.

    1. Form 1040 now asks about "... crypto-type currency transactions". If you lie, you're subject to big trouble if they catch it.

    2. Years ago I had to fly to San Francisco to meet with a US attorney over an issue they thought I might have over managing client assets (I live in Colorado). I felt they were trying to trap me into lying... even though I had already passed several SEC audits (they asked a few questions over and over in different form to see if I would "change my story" so they could hang me with any inconsistency)... but they didn't succeed.... 'cause I told the truth all along the way... not that such matters so much these days. :)

Bottom Line... I never stole even 5 Cents from a client... though the Feds wanted to prosecute me as though I had. :(

(BEWARE... Though the Feds/all government are allowed to lie to you, it's a felony if you lie to them... fwiw)

  5. Good Morning Scataphagos,

Do you know anyone who can trade the ES futures market for clients to make a lot of money year to year?

    Thank you,

  6. I don't personally know of anyone who trades the ES.... then again, I know only one person (a tennis/beer drinking buddy) who trades the markets at all. He's an Ivy League grad who thinks he's pretty smart, but has lost has ass over the years... prolly because he disagreed with me at virtually every market turn. :D His biggest shortcoming was thinking "all upside breakouts are false" and shorted them. (We once had a contest with $25K... He traded options while I traded mutual funds within a variable annuity. He lost most of his, I turned mine into $435K.)

Years ago I heard a story of some trader who had big success trading ONLY the ES... rarely having a losing day. I know that notion seems far-fetched to ETers, but I'm sure it's true... I trade the ES myself. If one learns "Price TA" and trades its principles well, almost ZERO chance of losing.

  9. Hello Scataphagos,

The notion is not far fetch, I can be done.

Correct, I agree with you what you wrote. ES is the best place to be. Wish I knew this since high school.

  10. Hello Scataphagos,

Thank you for your response. I like your stories. I love breakouts, easy money on this breakout stuff.
