Former presidential candidate Ralph Nader slammed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) as a "train wreck" during an interview on RT's "Politicking with Larry King." Nader said Cruz is "not achieving anything" in the Senate. "Heâs willing to shut down government, willing to tie up the Senate. He doesnât seem to be able to have a two-way conversation," Nader said. "I donât think heâs really all that libertarian. I think he has corporatist tendencies, big-business tendencies, regardless of his rhetoric. But he's not accomplishing much." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/02/27/ralph-nader-ted-cruz_n_4868088.html?utm_hp_ref=politics
thats a compliment from Nader and Huffpo. confirmation he is working for tax payers instead of special interests. I will say it seems stupid for nader to call him a corporatist. Certainly Nader realizes the banks and the insurance companies own the dems and the establishment republicans. Cruz is their opposition, and that is why they hate him. I expect some sort of wikileaks campaign against him to show up soon.
What has Ralph Nader ever accomplished except for destroying a perfectly good car ? OK, except for getting George Bush elected. And really, who gives a crap what he thinks?
As for Cruz, what he has accomplished is to give conservatives some hope that there is at least one politician with the balls to stand up for what he believes and what he was elected on. Someone who didn't immediately compromise to get along with the DC crowd, despite the hazing Johnny McCain and the other old timers tried to give him. BTW, what has the highly respected Sen. McCain accomplished in the time since Cruz was elected? What has he ever accomplished, other than trying and failing to sell us out on amnesty?
Cruz is a useless destructive grandstanding fucking dickhead. Nader is brilliant and spot-on as usual.
