Not 100% sure yet but Im looking at it on any opening bell weakness. They came out with great earnings and the stock sold off about .60 cents on very weak volume. If it was true weakness, the volume would be much stronger. Again, to be sure we need to see what it does near the open. If things are good, look for a strong move to 30.75-31. If not, oh well……Playing post earnings aint for the weak.

I've read a few of your posts in politics, and a few of your tasteless jokes in chit-chat. You seem to like stereotypes so allow me to offer up one on the topic of trading.

Chinese stocks are like the Chinese government.
There's zero transparency, try as they may no one understands them, they act erratic af, and all in all they can't be trusted.

Now... ask yourself how this company beat estimated earnings by a factor of roughly 2.5X, and yet revenue for the most part came in at the top of the estimate. How's that work?

You could dig into it I guess, if you have a phd in Chinese forensic accounting, or you could use your own logic that you stated above and say hmmmm.... "maybe there's a reason it didn't go up."

A better trade would be to put an order to short north of $31 and cross your fingers in the hope of catching a spike out of the gate that is driven by naive fomo players such as yourself that only see one part of a headline.

Other than that, have at it.
    Its down pre-market.

Good advice vanzandt. I agree. My post acknowledged it was down in the after hours and that it might be a good long on weakness for a quick trade.
Again, I agree with what you said though.

TCOM did exactly as I thought. There was weakness at the open and then it reversed higher throughout the day. Its now trading at the highs of the day.
