TC2000 or Trading View for charting?

Discussion in 'Trading Software' started by Miguel Rodriguez, Jan 3, 2017.

  1. Hi guys,

I have decided to change my charting platform. I am undecided between TC2000 Gold and Trading View Pro+. I would much appreciate your input on those.

Also, if you think there are better options out there please let me know ( eSignal and TOS are a nono for different reasons ).

    Thanks folks

We have charting packages in our trading platforms. What do you need that those typically don't cover?

  3. Thanks for the reply Robert. Main thing is that I am not a US citizen and I trade with a small account so the broker must be outside the US. I believe Lighspeed requires a minimum of 25K to day trade if Im not mistaken

We take foreign accounts but yes the minimum account size to get DT margin is $25K.

Robert, is that the minimum for the (Foreign accounts)? I was looking at them, was thinking about doing a switch from my present broker. Who do they clear thru?

    Zodiac4u,

The minimum is for all accounts, Wedbush. That is a regulatory minimum for DT. What country are you from. We can't offer accounts to Canadians.

25k for futures seems high, stocks with PDT is understandable, why on futures?

I agree, but not my choice. The account does not have to maintain $25K like stocks and I have asked for a smaller accounts for those that do equites too and the futures account is a second account.

    Sorry, I don't get a vote!
