Hello everyone, I'm using a MacBook Pro (OS Venture 13.6.7) with Parallels and TC2000 version 23. I have just installed this set up, as I begin learning principles of day trading. I have one worrisome issue so far - after leaving the TC2000 window (clicking away from it) and returning to the trading platform, the mouse/pointer combination will frequently not recognize TC2000 windows at all. I have asked about this from TC2000 software support via chat - but they say they have not heard of this issue. The only idea they had was to delete and reinstall everything, but as it's a new setup, that doesn't sound on point to me at all. Any thoughts as to how to investigate this further?
Thanks Mervyn. Can you be a bit more specific? I have been a Mac-only user for decades, and would prefer NOT to have to learn a whole new platform unless it's driven by known issues. (I know absolutely nothing about PC's. What I have observed suggests to me that I would not enjoy working with them). I could of course keep a Windows laptop only for this (day trading) purpose, but then I'm swapping machines for all inter-related workflows - browsing, communications, etc. Best for me would be if someone could relate direct knowledge of this issue - and whether a work-around is feasible. I'm only interested in the path that produces the most effective tool set for day trading.
