Need some suggestion on the right Tax Software for filing last year tax. Not sure whether turbotax or taxcut has features to upload all transactions from a text or csv file and do all calculations like washsale, etc automatically and create a schedule d. I have more than 400 trades last year and lots of them appears like wash sale.
Dude, go to a tax preparer and get it done correctly. They can help you input all the information and possibly help you deduct "other business expense" (without bending the rules too much) Some things you will need to consider: deductions from income (medical, interest paid etc), M2M for your wash sales, capital gains tax, and/or getting trader status.... good luck...tax code is thick stuff...don't get audited.
