Tax Advice

    As I live in CA, I trade from 6:30am to 1:00pm PST, and then go to part-time work from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

    For the first time in 2007, I am planning to declare my trading as business. It occurred to me that I might be less subject to tax auditing if I treat my part-time work as independent contractor, rather than a part-time work.

    Any input appreciated !

    I heard that the IRS does not like seeing Schedule C (trading as business), along with W-2 Form....
