Well, if someone is selling trading courses, I welcome them to put out free practical and actionable content. Do you read tape? If yes, do you think it is a good advice and why?
I don't 'read tape'. This video has no content whatsoever. In short, this video says: "read the tape when it's the right time". It's a bit like saying "buy low, sell high". To know more, you have to buy one of their 'package'.
Start with a single candle drill with permutations; Then combine into bar pairs, then extend to log price levels and time of delivery. These are the basics of understanding OHLC vs OLHC, when one occurs before the other, how the HTF's encapsulates price oscillations on the LTFs.
Sometimes I have a feeling Baron sold all the best handles to random people … how did we go from tape reading to this
I tried watching the whole video at 2X speed but I gave up as I keep on seeing that normal distribution thing. Google should allow us to watch it at a higher speed of say 10X.
They are an aspect of bar pairs. Bar pairs then can form swings; HH, HH, LH <- head & shoulders on a 3 bar form, swing high on the LTF; 3 - LTF swings builds to form a swing on the Intermediate TF, 3 - ITF swings builds to form a swing on the HTF, at a minimum. Congestion can include more bars. It all starts with a single bar for OHLC/OLHC encapsulates a swing within a bar.
SMB Capital makes money from their courses and long term invesments. Few years ago someone proved this by looking at their Tax filings.
