Yes, BTC is the first and certainly not the last or best crypto. Many others have made the same point. I think you may have highlighted the wrong paragraph, if you were trying to underline the main point. IMHO.

 

Oh, I just posted the link and I think the paragraph was auto-selected by Medium/Taleb (sort of how the YouTube thumbnail can be set by the youtuber).

Taleb is very smart and a deep thinker so natuarally is not shallow-minded to conclude Bitcoin is like tulips or a ponzi based on price-action alone

 

yeah, but he's been wrong about the stock market 99% of the time

 

He's not a trader and more of a wealth-protection kind of guy, but we all know that since we've all read his book The Black Swan

 

Taleb has a horde of nubile female college students who follow him around at public appearances.

 

Hope he shags them...lucky bastard!
